Hawthorn Psychology was founded in 2022 by Dr Diarmaid Ó Lonargáin, Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist, as a psychology service for autistic children. The service facilitates multidisciplinary autism assessments for children ages 3 to 17 years in addition to psychological intervention/therapy for autistic adolescents.
Diarmaid is a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and his Clinical Psychology doctorate is fully validated by the Department of Health under Directive 2005/36/EC.
All autism assessments and reports completed by Dr. Diarmaid at Hawthorn Psychology fully meet criteria for assessment required by the HSE and the Department of Education.
Our practice is based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Please note that we see clients by appointment only.
